SM Advantage Card Membership Application

When I purchase something from some SM Establishments like SM Supermarket, The SM Store and Watsons, fronting the cashier while she scans the items, she also asks if I have SM Advantage Card, before, I just say I don’t have. But after so many times that I can’t present an SMAC (since I'm a frequent SM shopper), I finally decided to apply for SM Advantage Loyalty Program. And now I have my own SMAC, I will now share you guys on how I got mine.

SMAC application is just P150 away. You can have your own card processed at the Customer Service Section located in every branch of The SM Store, SM Supermarket, Savemore Market or SM Hypermarket nationwide.

Just fill up the membership application form, after submitting it, they will give you the temporary card just like this.

SM Advantage Temporary Card

This card is what you will use while your personalized card is still in process, you can claim your personalized SMAC 30 days after your application date until the date indicated on your temporary card, just surrender it and present a valid ID. Upon Claiming, you will also receive SMAC Treats, SMAC Member's Manual and SM Value Perks Coupon as their welcome gift.

Using your SMAC, you are earning points on every purchase you make from SM Advantage Partner Establishments.
For every P200 worth of purchase:

1.0 point from:

The SM Store, ACE Hardware, ACE Builders, ACE Express, Sports Central, Toy Kingdom, Pet Express, Forever 21, Uniqlo, Adidas (inside SM Supermalls) and Nike ( SM North Edsa Annex)

0.5 point from:
SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, Savemore Market, SM Appliance Center, Surplus Shop, Our Home, Kultura, Baby Company, Watsons, and Levi's (inside SM Supermalls)

Even if you spend less than P200, you can still earn a fraction of a point.

Other Non-Retail Establishments and their equivalent points are specified on the SMAC Member's Manual.

Then you will ask: “How much points do I have now?”, you can check your email you’re using for SMAC application. They are sending you updates on your account (which includes you total points as of a specific date) and the promos lined up for members like us. If you want to see more accurate details, you can activate your SMAC account thru their website or you can use your phone checking your points via MySMAC app on Google Play and App Store.

So what we will do with those earned points? You can use your points redeeming anything and everything sold at SM Establishments. (Minimum of 50 points balance is required for redemption)
SMAC is renewable for 2 years. To save our points from forfeiting, renewal must be before the date indicated on our card but not 6 months after that date. Renewal fee is at P100, however, you will receive another SMAC Treats, SMAC Member's Manual and Value Perks Coupon Booklets.
